Ladies, come ride with the Speedy Beavers at Galbraith. This mountain has
something for everyone - fast single track, technical obstacles and excellent views.
We will split off into groups dependent on rider abilities. We will be meeting at the
Whatcom Falls Trail head. Hope to see you there.

Directions:
Take I-5 exit 253, keep right at the stop sign and turn east on Lakeway Drive. Go past
the cemetery and the main entrance to Whatcom Falls Park. After the main park
entrance, keep in the left lane, which will turn you left onto Electric Avenue. Once on
Electric Ave, go one block and turn left into the Whatcom Falls upper parking lot. The
entrance to the parking lot is directly across from Birch St. If you pass a gas station
on your right you have gone too far.


What to Bring on our funrides:
Your Mountain Bike - BUT if you don't have one or your is really old and you are
embarrassed to ride it, let us know, we may be able to secure you a demo or rental
bike from our shop sponsor, Bike Works of Lake Stevens.

A water carrying device - Such as a Camelback type pack or water bottle on your bike
frame.

Comfortable Clothing - padded bike shorts sure help, as do bike gloves, wear layers,
it can get cool in the dark woods. Some people like to wear clear sports glasses
while riding to protect their eyes from branches, dust and bugs.
