Speedy Beavers attend Fluidride Cup #2 ~By Joy

Last weekend the team made it up to Port Angeles for Fluidride Cup #2. The race
attracted almost 300 racers despite it being Mothers Day weekend! A few of us had
some pretty nasty crashes during practice but we managed to race despite some
bad bumps and bruises! The boys of ODS added a new steep loose rocky shoot
called "Justice" and lets just say justice was served to many racers! Here is a short
video by Mike Estes of Joy hitting it on her race run. All said and done, Carolyn
placed 7th in the expert women class along with Brooke placing 5th, Dawn 1st and
Joy placing 3rd in the pro class. Dawn ended up having the 3rd quickest time of the
day for the women beating Joy by less then one second!! Time for someone to move
up to pro I think!! ; )
We would like to thank Fluidride, Hurricane Racing and Olympica Dirt Society for
putting on an awesome event! We can't wait for the next one in July at Mt. Hood. A
